To spread some Christmas cheer on this merry Christmas Eve, I wanted to share these frosty photos with you! I think one of two things will happen:
1. You’ll be super glad you’re in your cozy house, waiting for a big meal-gifts-catching up with family-church service-sitting quietly by the tree-setting out cookies for Santa.
2. You’ll be super glad you’re in your cozy house, waiting for a big meal-gift opening time-catching up with family-church service-sitting quietly by the tree-setting out cookies for Santa.
Okay, so that’s just one reason. But, I’m pretty sure I’m right this time! Obviously, I was starting to get a little cabin fever the other day. Why else would I venture outdoors, in my snow boots & pjs to take pictures? The fresh, frozen air was calling to me.
So, I tromped around in the snow taking photos. Without gloves. I can’t adjust the zoom with gloves. Painful.
I lasted about 5.5 minutes. It was fun. Right up until my my fingers began turning pinkish-red.
Dear Snow – You are pretty, but please melt soon. Your friend, Sierra
Dear Ice sickles – You’re pretty but please melt soon. Your friend, Sierra
Dear Trees – You can stay like this. I think it is super amazing. Your friend, Sierra Folks, this ain’t ice. It is ice crystals.
Tiny works of art! This only happens when it is REAALLLY cold & the humidity is a bit higher than normal.
Which reminds me, my fingers are freezing off. I need to take cattle photo. Would this be a farm winter wonderland without some cows?
That is all I’ve got. I needed to go in and warm my fingers/toes/nose.
Merry Christmas (stay warm),
PS: My fingers did not freeze off.
The frosty tree are so pretty to bad it is a sign of cold cold weather!!
Gorgeous! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Laurel
Beautiful! Merry Christmas to you and John!
Brrrrr….that’s all I can say.
