We added the red bench. It was a gift from one of my aunts. DSCN6756 DSCN6760My other aunts gave me this mini fridge when I went off to college! Now we put the cattle medicine, Diet Coke and extra garden produce in this smaller mini fridge. It freed up a lot of space in the kitchen refrigerator. DSCN6755

I made curtains for the three windows out of a dark fabric with a wheat pattern. I though the wheat pattern was a good fit for a farmer’s mudroom. DSCN6762We also got new laminate flooring for the room. I found the flooring as a remnant. DSCN6759All done! Thanks for reading.

Hey there... I'm Sierra!

I love to blog, plan, organize, decorate, teach, research & be creative. I’m a farm wife & mama of three kiddos: almost 6, 4 and almost 2. We love to live and work in rural South Dakota. A few years ago we remodeled a house & we call our home The Peacock Ranch.

I am earning a Spiritual Direction Certificate from Sioux Falls Seminary & I put my masters in English/Mass Communications on hold at South Dakota State University so I can focus on being a mama in a pandemic! In the meantime, I’m enjoying reading more & writing here on the blog.
