Can you believe it? The Pantone Spring 2014 color report is out! We are just starting to think of pumpkins, harvest, all things warm and cozy and FALL. Meanwhile, Pantone is already releasing the colors for Spring 2014. We haven’t even finished our Color of the Year Emerald Challenge yet! Goodness!

Click here to download the full report. Or, visit pantone.com/spring2014. It is a 36-page PDF file, full of photos, inspiration, designers and sketches! They are calling the collection A Season of Colorful Equilibriummain

Pantone also has a poll to vote for a favorite spring color. It haven’t really studied the colors in depth yet, but I think one of my initial favorites is Hemlock. It reminds me of 2013’s Grayed Jade.

At first look, what is your favorite Spring 2014 color?

    Hi Sierra,

My favorite color for spring is cayenne–as close to red as these new colors get. I tend to like saturated colors for clothing but like them in my house too.

Hey, I’m Sierra Shea! I am so glad you are here.

Where do I start with writing to introduce this blog? At the beginning, I suppose: I’ve been writing on various platforms online since 2013. I started blogging shortly after moving to South Dakota.

I am a mother and a maker at heart. I’m so grateful to be married to John and mother of three: Joslyn, J.D. and Jesse.

I am a self-taught decorator and designer. I am a brand new shepherdess and a Spiritual Director.

I love living in South Dakota, even though the winters & the wind can be a near-daily struggle.

Blogging is a grounding force in my life and it helps get me out of my head, unstuck and moving in the directions I always hoped I’d be going!
