Hi Friends!
What a week I’ve had. I’ve been down and out with strep throat.
For some silly reason, I thought I’d caught it early and would be ready to roll again in 24 hours.
Turns out the gentle pregnancy-mode meds kick in more like at 48 to 72 hours.
On account of me feeling crummy & taking time to rest, Farmin’ Friday is short this week. I’ll just share a few photos that might not have made it to the blog otherwise.
Cost Per Cow Per Year
I did manage to write one coherent post this week from my bed, about our new project tracking our cost per cow per year. Please check that out if you are interested in tracking those numbers for your cow herd. Or, check it out, if you’re interested in the numbers & business side of all this beauty!
Corn Fields & Flower Gardens
These pictures were taken on June 10th. So, the corn is even darker green, taller and healthier looking now.
We’ve come along way since these little seeds earlier this spring! This was taken on May 7th.
Here’s my truck all loaded down delivering seed and fertilizer to the field for John. She’s ‘squatting’ eh?
And, here are a few of my flowers. After a long, long, long (did I say long?) cold winter – flowers bring me an especially great joy.
Have a nice weekend!
